Welcome Families!

A message from the principal

Welcome to Rodriguez Elementary! It is with great pride and excitement that I extend a warm greeting to each of you as you join our school community. Whether you are new to our campus or returning for another wonderful year, we are thrilled to have you as part of our Rodriguez family.

For the past 17 years, I have had the honor of serving as the proud principal of Rodriguez Elementary and I continue to be inspired by the incredible growth, accomplishments, and sense of community that make our school such a special place. Our school is a vibrant, nurturing environment where every student is valued, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential.

At the heart of our school is a strong commitment to academic excellence, meaningful relationships, and a nurturing environment. Our dedicated teachers and staff work tirelessly to create engaging learning experiences that challenge and empower students each day. From literacy and STEM initiatives to the arts and extracurricular opportunities, we encourage every child to explore their interests and grow as confident, capable learners.

What truly makes Rodriguez Elementary exceptional is our community. Families play a vital role in supporting student success, and we are deeply grateful for the partnerships we have built together. Whether through volunteering, attending events, or supporting learning at home, your involvement strengthens our school and enriches the experience for all students.

We also take great pride in fostering a culture of respect, inclusivity, and kindness. Our students are learning not only academic skills, but also the importance of empathy, responsibility, and perseverance—qualities that will guide them well beyond their elementary years.

As we begin this exciting journey together, we remain focused on growth, innovation, and celebrating the accomplishments of our students and staff. Please know that our doors are always open, and we are here to support you every step of the way.

Thank you for entrusting us with your child’s education. Together, we are building a strong foundation for lifelong learning and success.

Monica Mills, Principal
